Everett Kier - Pastor

Everett graduated from Bryan College with a major in History and a minor in Education.  He holds his ThM from Dallas Seminary, in Historical Theology. 

Everett has taught in a Christian school and served in varying pastoral positions at three churches.  He has served Salem Baptist since 1994, as Senior Pastor since 1999.

Everett has four grown children.  His wife, Debbie, is an elementary school teacher at East Salem Elementary School.

Tom Clark - Associate Pastor

Tom graduated from Grand Rapids Baptist College, now Cornerstone University, in 1976 with a B.A. in Religion and a minor in Music.  He has completed graduate courses at Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary, Grace Theological Seminary and Columbia International University. 

He has served in a variety of ministry roles including Program Director at Lake Ann Regular Baptist Youth Camp, Associate Pastor - Union Lake Baptist Church, Church Planter in Madrid, Spain with World Team and CEO of the Blue Ridge Women's Center.

Tom's wife, Ronda, is a teacher at Faith Christian School.  They have two grown children, 1 grandchild and live in Salem.

Peggy Campbell - Director of Music and Children's Ministries

Peggy graduated from Hollins College, now Hollins University, majoring in music.  She holds her M.S. in Music (Education) from Radford University.

Peggy has taught piano and organ privately and taught in public school.  She has served in varying positions at three churches. 

She began her work at Salem Baptist Church in 2002.

Brenda Sizer - Financial Secretary

Brenda graduated from Roanoke College with a Bachelor in Business Administration and a concentration in Accounting.  She is a member of Church of the Holy Spirit, Roanoke.
