Hunter moved to Salem from Wake Forest, NC to attend Roanoke College. After graduating with his bachelor's degree from Roanoke College, he began attending Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he plans to earn his Master of Divinity in Christian Ministry.

Hunter currently serves as the College Ministry Coordinator, working primarily with Roanoke College, in order to disciple and direct students to worshipful participation in a local church. He also assists with Maroon Baptist Fellowship, an on-campus ministry at Roanoke College, and assists in teaching and occasional preaching.
